A speedy, reliable multifunction device it is capable of producing quality output at up to 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution at speeds of up to 55/45 ipm. In addition to this, DocuCentre is equipped with a customisable User Interface and can be configured with a variety of functional, paper tray and finishing options to best suit your organisation’s requirements.
DocuCentre-II 5010/4000 is available in a number of functional configurations. It can be set up as a stand alone copier with the addition of print, scan and fax functionality as required.
DocuCentre-II 5010/4000 can be configured with any of the following tray options:
- Two Trays (A5 to A3) with a Stand
- Two Trays (A5 to A3) plus Two Tray Module (A5 to A3)
- Two Trays (A5 to A3) plus Tandem Tray Module (A4 only)
An optional 2000 sheet High Capacity Feeder can also be added to enable longer uninterrupted job runs.

DocuCentre-II 5010/4000 incorporates a number of noteworthy copy features:
- Lightweight Media Copying – documents such as tracing paper as thin as 38gsm can be copied effectively and images reproduced clearly.
- Poster Creation – poster sized copies of an image can be achieved by copying sections of the image onto multiple sheets for assembly as a large poster.
- Job Build – this feature makes merging and manipulating hard copy documents easy. It allows users to divide a copy job into numerous segments, apply unique programming to each, collate and print, thus eliminating the need for manual collation.
DocuCentre-II 5010/4000 boasts numerous print features including:
- Secure Print – maximises the security of confidential documents as it allows a print job to be sent to the device, but requires the user to enter a predefined password at the device to enable printing.
- Mailbox Print/Document Merge – documents printed by one or more users can be saved to a mailbox indefinitely through the printer driver or by scanning at the device. Such document can be merged with others within the mailbox and/or easily retrieved on demand printing.
- Favourite Print Settings – the settings of frequently printed documents can be saved as favourites in users’ printer drivers. These include paper sizes, cover insertion(s). duplex and finishing requirements and save the time required to manually select these for each print job.
The DocuCentre-II 5010/4000 is capable of scanning at speed of up to 55ipm. This allows the timely conversion of hard copy copies to digital format.
Once scanned, documents can be transferred to any email address, mailbox repository on the device or destination on the organisation’s network (using FTP and SMB protocol).
DocuCentre-II 5010/4000 transmits faxes at speeds of less than three seconds per page and can be configured to include two additional fax lines for sending and receiving faxes.
- PC Faxing – to save paper and reduce costs users can send faxes directly from their PC using the printer driver.
- Undelivered fax storage – these can be saved at the device and re-sent without re-scanning the hardcopy original
- Fax Restriction – limits users from sending faxes to recipients not listed in the address book
